About the Job...
Warehouse Person works "behind the scenes" to ensure the property
is supplied with food and the staple goods needed to feed and lodge guests and employees. This position
is physically demanding! Warehouse staff unload trucks, stock the warehouse with dry goods,
produce and frozen foods, take inventory and deliver orders to departments on location.
Warehouse uniforms are provided by the company. Employees must bring their own leather, close-toed, non-skid shoes.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and the Assistant Warehouse Supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To accept responsibility for receiving, storing and issuing all products that the warehouse handles.
Establish and maintain order in all warehouse storage areas.
Rotate all products using a first in-first out inventory system.
Maintain and project a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
Correctly identify all products the warehouse handles on a daily basis.
Accurately fill all orders.
Accurately check in vendor deliveries.
Maintain open and positive communication with supervisors and co-workers.
Advise warehouse supervisor of any inventory discrepancies.
Develop and promote a teamwork attitude with all co-workers.
Follow company and departmental environmental practices to minimize wasted energy and resources.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Working knowledge of all products stored in warehouse;
    how to handle and where to store.
Ability to communicate and work well with others.
Ability to organize and prioritize daily routine.
Ability to communicate in a positive and concise manner.
Ability to accomplish tasks with little direct supervision.
Physical requirements include:
Able to lift and carry containers weighing up to 70 pounds
Able to work in subzero freezer room and refrigerated room situations
Able to work at least eight (8) hours each day unloading, lifting and loading
boxes and containers
Able to stand on feet for at least eight (8) hours each day
Bending and kneeling
Stretching and reaching
Working with required chemicals
