Our standards include the following:
|
|
Alcohol and Drug-Free work place
A productive, safe work environment leaves no room for alcohol at work or the use of illegal
drugs at any time. Employees are subject to pre-employment, random, periodic and/or reasonable
cause alcohol and drug testing. Our jobs and homes are on federal land, and any offense of the
"zero-tolerance" drug policy will be handled under federal jurisdiction.
A Positive Letter of Recommendation
is required before an employee can begin employment. Details for submission are given during the
hiring process.
A Background Check
is a condition of employment and will be done on every employee. Individuals with outstanding
wants, warrants and some felony convictions will not be employed.
And...Your Paycheck!
Starting wage for most positions is $6.65 per hour.
On-site housing, meals, utilities and laundry facilities are provided to employees with
a payroll deduction. See the information below.
For employees who have arranged with their hiring department to bring their own RV,
the site rental will vary from $83.00 to $100.00 per pay period (two weeks) and will be
deducted from their paycheck. Some sites require separate billing for utilities and exact
deductions will be specified in your employee agreement. Laundry facilities are available on location.

The amount of room and board deduction is based on the number of hours an
employee works during the pay period (not on the number of days at location).
A pay period is two weeks long. The maximum room and board deduction per paycheck is $142.00 (plus applicable sales tax).
for employees who work 64 or more hours in that pay period. For employees working 63 hours
or less during a pay period, the amount of the deduction is prorated based on actual hours worked.
