About the Job...
Kitchen Crew are the backbone of our food service operations, working in
a variety of job assignments.
These include:
Pantry Workers prepare cold items, salads, desserts,
sandwiches and other food items to be served to guests in
a full-service dining room or cafeteria.
Cafeteria Crew may perform a variety of duties. They may
serve guests on a cafeteria line, clear and clean tables,
restock food from the kitchen or resupply condiments and other
items for guest use. Cafeteria Crew may also serve as
cashiers collecting guest payment.
Dishwasher/Potwashers sort dirty dishes, glassware,
silverware and kitchen utensils,
operate the dishwashing
machine and restock the cleaned items. This is a tough, but
essential job!
All Kitchen Crew positions wear uniforms provided by the company. You must provide your own leather, close-toed, no-skid shoes.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Cafeteria Manager or the Food Production Manager on duty.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform all job duties toward the goal of providing excellent guest
service in an efficient manner.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Adhere to all sanitation requirements.
Adhere to all safety requirements.
Report to work on time, in a clean and complete uniform, ready for work.
Develop teamwork with all co-workers.
Maintain uniform and appearance standards.
Complete all duties as assigned during each shift.
Maintain communication with all supervisors and co-workers.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
Complete all duties and assignments as specified by location in the park.
Cafeteria Crew may be responsible for assigned cash bank.
Safe, sanitary knife and kitchen equipment skills.
Follow company and departmental environmental practices to minimize
wasted energy and resources.
Physical requirements include:
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Able to carry heavy and hot food containers, service ware and furniture
Able to work with and use various kitchen instruments and equipment
Able to stand on feet for at least eight (8) hours each day
Bending and kneeling
Stretching and reaching
Working with required chemicals
