About the Job...
Employee Dining Room Crew serve their fellow employees in employee
dining rooms. The Employee Dining Room (EDR) team is directly responsible for making sure that the staff on
location is served good, fresh food with courtesy and a smile. EDR Crew stock and prepare food service areas,
stock clean dinner ware and remove it when dirty. The staff does not generally prepare or cook hot dishes,
but may be called upon to help occasionally.
EDR Crew wear uniforms provided by the company. Employees must bring their own leather, close-toed, non-skid shoes.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the EDR Manager or the EDR Lead on duty.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide courteous and efficient service to all guests of the employee dining room.
Complete food preparation, set-up, service, clean-up, and restocking of employee food service areas.
Adhere to all sanitation requirements, including product rotation, temperature maintenance,
storage procedures, cooking requirements, and food handling techniques.
Adhere to all safety standards and requirements.
Report to work on time, in a clean and complete uniform, ready for work.
Maintain cleanliness of all employee dining room and service areas.
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
Maintain open and positive communication with supervisors and co-workers.
Complete all duties as assigned during shift.
Develop and promote a teamwork attitude with all co-workers.
Act in a professional manner with the awareness that all actions and communications
are within guests' view.
Follow company and departmental environmental practices to minimize wasted energy and resources.
Complete all duties and assignments that are specific to locations in the park.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to follow directions
Ability to communicate and work well with others
Safe, sanitary knife and kitchen equipment skills
Skills, knowledge and physical requirements as indicated by location in the park
Physical requirements include:
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Able to carry heavy and hot food containers, service ware and furniture
Able to work with and use various kitchen instruments and equipment
Able to stand on feet for at least eight (8) hours each day
Bending and kneeling
Stretching and reaching
Working with required chemicals
