About the Job...
A Bell Porter in Yellowstone has direct contact with guests and provides
several services, including the transportation of luggage to and from rooms, providing information about
the location and providing shuttle service if neccessary.
Bell Porters wear uniforms provided by the company. Employees must provide black leather, close-toed shoes.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to the Bell Captain
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that our guests receive the utmost in service
and courtesy!
Greet guests and tour directors in a friendly manner,and
to provide luggage service and accurate information to all.
Become familiar with and perform emergency fire evacuation
and safety procedures.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of public areas.
Assist other departments as needed (including working
six days/week during times of short staffing).
Provide shuttle service to guests as needed.
Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Must be a people person who thrives on public contact
Knowledge of the assigned lodging facility and area
Knowledge of Yellowstone Park, services and attractions
Physical requirements include:
Able handle and move luggage of various weight and sizes safely and efficiently
Standing for long periods of time
Bending and kneeling
Stretching and reaching
Frequent lifting and carrying
Working in various weather conditions
Frequent walking up and down staircases
Working with required chemicals and equipment
